Reliance DreamWorks gets 11 Oscars nominations

'War Horse','The Help' and 'Real Steel' bring Reliance 11 nods,including Best Picture,Original Score.

Reliance DreamWorks partnership has garnered 11 Oscar nominations for three films ‘War Horse’,’The Help’ and ‘Real Steel’.

With the nominations,this is the first time an Indian company has been nominated in such a big way at the Oscars.

Steven Spielberg directed ‘War Horse’ has been nominated in 6 categories that include The Best Picture,Sound Editing,Sound Mixing,Original Score (John Williams),Art Direction and Cinematography.

The emotional epic releases in India on February 10.

‘The Help’ has been nominated for The Best Picture,Best Actress (Viola Davis),Best Supporting Actress (Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer).

Hugh Jackman starrer sci-fi thriller ‘Real Steel’ has been nominated for Best achievement in Visual Effects.

Sharjeel Imam has filed an interim bail plea to contest the Bihar assembly elections as an independent candidate while being in Tihar Jail for his alleged involvement in the 2020 Delhi riots.
