Rannvijay Singh turns producer

VJ Rannvijay as he is popularly known as,gained immense popularity as a contestant,host and a judge of MTV Roadies. Having been a part of an adventure show Roadies and other MTV shows since a long time,Singh is now trying to reach newer heights in the television industry. The popular veejay and actor has now taken to production. His first project being MTV Rann VJ Run featuring him in the central role.

“The show has me discovering new places,sports,culture and people,” says Singh,who’s producing the show under his banner,Reel Speel. A ten-part series,which is already on air sees Rannvijay challenging athletes like Ryan Doyle,Kriss Kyle and Aaron Hadlow for various sports such as Parkour,BMX,Kite surfing etc.

“India hardly has any adventure sport junkies. Through the show,I want Indians to learn more about these sports,as they will see me trying my hands at some of these. I hope they get inspired,” he says.

While this being his first as a producer,he is in the process of locking his second project,“Producing a show that features me is easily saleable as people know me. But it’s going to be a challenge to do that with my next which does not feature me. I will first pitch the show to MTV,considering I have been working with them for so many years,” he informs.
