Paris nabbed for cocaine possession

Paris Hilton has been arrested for possession of cocaine in Las Vegas.

US socialite Paris Hilton has been arrested for possession of cocaine in Las Vegas,according to police.

Hilton was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on Saturday after her car was stopped by police in a Las Vegas street. The 28-year-old reality TV star was later released.

The police also arrested the driver for DUI pertaining to drugs. Through further interaction between Hilton and authorities,it was discovered she was in possession of cocaine,Fox News reported. It is not clear how much of the drug was found.

Hilton is not new to legal troubles,four years ago she was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and sentenced to 45 days in prison. She spent 23 days in jail in June 2007.
