Pamela Anderson keen to be UN goodwill ambassador

Former 'Baywatch' star is keen to put her fame and power to good use.

Former ‘Baywatch’ actress Pamela Anderson has expressed her desire to become a UN goodwill ambassador.

The animal rights campaigner is keen to put her fame and power to good use by joining the United Nations to help those less fortunate than her.

“An aspiration of mine since I started in this business is to one day fulfil the role of goodwill ambassador to the UN. I’ve always thought this was a romantic, interesting element of stardom, back to the days of Audrey Hepburn,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“I’ve always included social issues as well as animal issues in whatever country I’m visiting – no matter how trivial the job may seem. I use the possibilities and opportunities I’m blessed with to bring awareness, which makes me feel great. It brings meaning to my career in a unique way,” she added.
