‘Paa’ underperforms in overseas market

While ‘Paa’ is faring well in India,it hasn't met the desired expectations in the international markets.

While ‘Paa’ may be faring exceptionally well in India,it hasn’t met the desired expectations in the international markets. The film showed an upward trend on Saturday and was better than Friday on Sunday in both U.S.A. [$ 55,690; $ 86,636; $ 56,902 and U.K. [£ 17,120; £ 27,085; £ 22,383,but the business isn’t in sync with the tremendous appreciation for the film. Australia too is below par… RADIO is a supreme disaster in U.K. In fact,it’s the lowest opener of 2009 there [see chart below… Last week’s ‘De Dana Dan’ had an 85% fall in U.S.,75% fall in U.K. and 68% fall in Australia.
