Australian pop star Kylie Minogue has kicked off her first tour in US with flamboyance in Lady Gaga style.

Australian pop star Kylie Minogue has kicked off her first tour in US with flamboyance,sporting outfits which are very similar to the style statement of pop singer Lady Gaga.

The 41-year-old star,who has never embarked on a tour in the US before,made sure that the debut show in California on Wednesday night made the right impact,as she appeared onstage atop a gleaming silver skull,reported Daily Express.

As she belted out hits including ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’ and ‘Better The Devil You Know’ at the show,Minogue’s wardrobe seemed inspired from the flamboyant style of Lady GaGa.

The fashionista delighted her fans with a number of outfits,including a glamorous gold gown and a futuristic shimmering leotard,which looked remarkably similar to a mirrored creation worn by GaGa on stage at the Glastonbury festival earlier.

Completing the futuristic look,the singer wore sequinned cuffs and a bizarre gyroscope-style headgear. The headgear,which looked like a model of a solar system,drew comparisons from a Nasir Mazhar creation worn by GaGa when she appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres chat show in May.

The enthusiastic reaction of her fans in the US overwhelmed Minogue so much that she wrote on her Twitter page,”Thank you to all who were at opening night and to my sensational team. It was amazing,unforgettable!!! :) yayYYYYYYY!!!!”

Minogue will perform nine shows across the US and Canada,visiting cities including Las Vegas and Los Angeles before wrapping up the tour in New York later this month.
