Adapted from O’Henrys short story,The Last Leaf,Lootera appears to be fairly disappointing in comparison to Vikramadityas first directorial venture,Udaan.
Lead stars Sonakshi and Ranveer, who play Pakhi and Varun in the 1950s romantic story, show love and longing for each other. However, according to Indian Express’ critic Shubhra Gupta,it’s Sonakshi that seems to have won hearts in the film.
Though the film, opened to a slow start,it has picked up over the weekend.
#Lootera shows upward trend on Sat and Sun. Sat biz was 25% to 35% up from Fri. Sunday biz strong too. Word of mouth very good.
