Lindsay Lohan remains in ‘Inferno’

Filming of Inferno was stalled again after Lohan went back to rehab.

She has been sent back to rehab by court but troubled Hollywood actress Lindsay Lohan is not being replaced in ‘Inferno’,the much hyped bio-pic of porn star Linda Lovelace

Lohan’s run-ins with the law have stalled the filming of the movie but helmer Matthew Wilder denied rumours that they were casting for the role again, reported New York Daily News online.

Wilder has renewed his vow to stand by the 24-year-old as she endures a further three months in drug rehab.

“We’re not replacing her with another person. She’s good and productive and thinking about life beyond rehab. I think she feels a little cooped up there, but she’s OK,” said Wilder.

The filmmaker hired the ‘Mean Girls’ star to play the troubled porn legend in the film earlier this year, but production on the project was pushed back when Lohan was

jailed for breaching her probation over the summer.

Shooting was scheduled to begin in November but filming on the movie has now been stalled after Lohan was ordered to spend the next three months continuing treatment at California’s Betty Ford Clinic during a court hearing on Friday,October 22.

The news will be a major relief for Lohan. In court documents filed by her probation officer, she admits she “can not afford to continue to pay for the treatment program and she needs to work”.

Lohan’s stay in rehab has been extended till January 3. The ‘Mean Girls’ star will also be subject to random drug testing until her next court date on February 25,Los Angeles Times reported.

“I’m serious about that (date). You’re staying there past the New Year, and there’s a reason for that,” judge Elden Lohan.

“I’m not going to be manipulated. If you’re serious about what you wrote in the letter,if you’re serious about your sobriety… you will admit that you are an addict,” Fox added, referring to Lohan’s handwritten letter she sent to the judge.

If she completes her treatment and complies with her probation until the February hearing, the actress will be placed on unsupervised probation so she can move on with her life and “put this long episode behind” her.
