Lily Allen gives up high heels

Popstar Lily Allen,who is pregnant with her first child,has stopped splurging on high heels and has switched to more comfortable footwear.

The petite singer who loves stilettos says that the fashionable shoes are no longer practical for her. “Heels are the only area I’ve stopped splurging on. I rarely go near a shoe if it’s lower than 4in,but stilettos just look so unappealing to me right now,which is very sad,” said the ‘Smile’ singer.

The 25-year-old,who has opened her own vintage clothing store,’Lucy in Disguise’,said that she used to wear high heels because they flattered her figure.

“Empire-line dresses,jeans with a heel and a top that covers your bum are good. I don’t have a model’s body,so I wear what I can work with. You won’t catch me dead in the new kitten heels. I’m 5ft 2in,so if I’m going to wear heels,they’re going to be five-inch ones,” said Allen.
