The success of F.A.L.T.U has encouraged director and choreographer Remo D’Souza to venture out in different directions.

Remo D’Souza will impart dance lessons through the web

The success of F.A.L.T.U has encouraged director Remo D’Souza to venture out in different directions. First up is a web portal that he will be launching on June 29,where he will impart dance lessons through the web. “The website is called LLD – Live and Let Dance. It will have choreographers like Dharmesh,Prince and me teaching students how to dance,” says D’Souza ,who is launching this purely for the love of dance. “Registration is free on the website. I am not looking at charging members. If the concept works, sponsorship will definitely come in,” he says.

For D’Souza, the idea to launch this concept came from his movie F.A.L.T.U,where,in one of the sequences, the lead actors launch a web portal through which, they impart singing, cooking and gymming lessons. “There is a lot of talent in our country but all of them do not have the resources. On our portal,we will be choreographing a song each in different dance forms. Anyone interested can learn it and even perform in schools, competitions etc,” he says. Through the portal,he is also launching a contest to look for India’s Michael Jackson. “People can make their videos and mail them to us and we will call the finalists to Mumbai and have the final competition here.”

Besides the portal,D’Souza is busy writing the script of his second film, which will go on floors in September. “It is going to be a dance-based film in 3D,” he says.
