She may have said it in jest,but her comment that there should be a National Award for the best item number did not go down too well with many,who felt that she should not have commented on the awards as she is not an Indian. “It was said lightheartedly and I did not think that it would be taken so seriously,” said Kaif at an event.

Asked if she was going to be seen sans make-up in Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger,as reported,she says that it’s too early to talk about the film but she will have two different looks in it. “I had an exciting time working with Kabir in New York and am looking forward to working with him again,” she said.

As for doing Ayan Mukerji’s film with Ranbir Kapoor,Kaif said that nothing has been confirmed as yet. “Anyway,I prefer the production house to make the announcement about any film,” she said.
