“He loves watching ‘Downton Abbey’ on television and it’s exactly the kind of place he would like to live in. They discussed moving to the UK,but in the end they agreed on bringing a bit of Britain to Los Angeles,” the source added.

The house would be a family place.

“He wants a statement home that will be passed down from

generation to generation,in the way they used to be in the

Britain of the Downton era,” a source said.

“Of course there will be a movie theatre, bowling alley and basketball court. It’s going to be the family’s palace so no expense will be spared on the decor. They intend it to be the most spectacular house ever built,” the source added.
