John Mayer has confirmed his split from pop star Katy Perry.

Singer-songwriter John Mayer has confirmed his split from pop star Katy Perry but refused to disclose the reason for their break-up.

Mayer and Perry parted ways last week after dating for about a year,reported Aceshowbiz.

The 35-year-old spoke about the break-up on Ellen Degeneres show. When the host asked Mayer about the split with Perry,he answered with a one word answer,”Correct”.

“Listen,it was a very private relationship going in. It was a private relationship during,and it’s a private relationship,still. I’ve been much happier since then. I’m on the same journey as everyone else. Coupling is a tricky thing,” Mayer added.
