Johhny Depp gives 4000 USD as tip

Hollywood heartthrob Johnny Depp's generosity seems unaffected by the economic recession.

Hollywood heartthrob Johnny Depp’s generosity seems unaffected by the economic recession as the star left a tip of USD 4000 at a Chicago restaurant.

The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star enjoyed dinner with director Michael Mann and his co-stars from the movie ‘Public Enemies’ including Oscar winning Marrion Cottilard at the Gibsons Bar and Steakhouse and left a huge tip for waiter Mohammed A Sekhani, reported Contactmusic.

“Depp hosted a party of 15 people, including Mann and Cotillard, and the tip was split 12 ways. Depp is the finest of all the stars I have ever waited on. And he is a true icon, and his ability to respect others is phenomenal,” said Sekhani.

This is not the first time that the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star has shown his appreciation of good service by leaving a huge amount of cash. Last year the 46-year-old actor left USD 1,500 after dining in Wisconsin.

“Johnny had a big dinner with his friends at one of the local restaurants. When the bill came to USD 2,600,he decided to leave a USD 1,500 tip to show how much he had enjoyed himself,” an onlooker had said at the time.
