Pop star Beyonce Knowles says she enjoys being rebellious and wanted to break some laws while filming the music video for ‘XO’.

The 32-year-old singer,whose self-titled new album topped the US charts despite no prior promotion,said she tried to shoot the music video for ‘XO,’ directed by Terry Richardson,without a permit on Coney Island,New York in August,reported Contactmusic.

“If it was my choice,I would never have a permit. I would just get in the car,get a camera,and we’d just shoot,and trust me,we tried,” Beyonce said.

“I’m trying to rebel against perfection. It’s fun because you never know what’s going to happen,” she added.
