How Pattinson fought for Stewart’s attention

Robert Pattinson tried to impress Kristen Stewart by faking a love of intellectual films and authors.

Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson tried to impress his ‘Twilight’ co-star Kristen Stewart by faking a love of intellectual films and authors.

Pattinson reportedly asked Stewart to marry him several times a week, and now he admits that he had to fight for her attention by pretending to be interested in high brow stuff, according to the reports.

“I thought to myself, because she’s so serious,I’ve got to be really serious. I felt like an idiot just following her around saying,’You really should read some Zola, and there’s this amazing Truffaut movie’. She started calling me on things. She would ask,’Have you actually watched this movie? What’s it about?’,” Pattinson said.

‘Twilight’s director Catherine Hardwicke has recently confirmed the pair are an item after revealing Stewart decided she wanted give it “a go” and be with the British actor.
