Movie lovers are in for a treat this week with three big releases - Raanjhanaa,Enemmy,Shortcut Romeo releasing today. First up is romantic love story Raanjhanaa. Sonam Kapoor and south star Dhanush have been going all out promoting the Anand L. Rai film all over the country and have surely succeeded in getting their fans curious about the movie. It would definitely be interesting to watch unconventional couple Dhanush and Sonam playing young lovers. Set in Banaras,the film tells the tale of a Hindu Boy,Kundan (Dhanush) who falls in love with Zoya (Sonam Kapoor),a muslim girl. The couple will be seen playing teenagers as the film follows their love story right from their school days. Raanjhanaa,produced by Krishika Lulla under the banner Eros International,also stars Dev D actor Abhay Deol and Swara Bhaskar of Tanu Weds Manu fame. The film's music has been composed by Oscar winner A R Rahman and has received a positive response from fans. Another release this weekend is multi-starrer and action-thriller Enemmy featuring 'disco dancer' Mithun Chakraborty. The action-packed cop drama also has Mithun's son Mahakshay along with Suniel Shetty,Kay Kay Menon,Johnny Lever,Mahesh Manjrekar and Yuvika Chaudhary. The 'cop versus gangster' drama marks the comeback of Suniel Shetty on the silver screen after a gap of two years. The actor will be seen playing the role of a crime branch officer named Eklavya Karmarkar,who along with his team fight against the mafia-don played by Mithun. Enemmy is directed by Ashu Trikha,who promises the film isnt a regular masala affair. It is being produced by Mithuns wife Yogita Bali. Last but definitely not the least,is Susi Ganeshans first Hindi film Shortcut Romeo. The film a romantic thriller and stars Neil Nitin Mukesh in the lead while Go Goa Gone actress Puja Gupta plays his love interest. It also features actress Ameesha Patel in a negative role. Director Susi Ganeshan is confident Ameesha will win awards for her crucial role in the film and claims she is the 'centre code' in the film. The film has been shot in Kenya and features music by Himesh Reshammiya. The movie was also screen at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival this year in May. So,what will be your pick this Friday?
