Hollywood beauty Eva Mendes says her childhood dream was to be a nun.

Her semi-naked billboard ads may have caused much moral indignation but Hollywood beauty Eva Mendes says her childhood dream was to be a nun.

The 35-year-old actress said she decided to abandon the idea after discovering that they are not paid well.

Mendes admits she was a “prude” as a child and felt a convent career would be perfect for her until her sister revealed the poor truths about nuns,Contactmusic reported.

“We grew up,not in a poor,poor family,but lower-middle class,a lot of bills and my mother was always stressing about money and stuff. And I would promise her,’Mum,I’m gonna buy you a house and pay all your bills one day’,” Mendes said.

“My older sister… said,’How you gonna do all this? Don’t you know nuns don’t get paid?’ And I was like,’What?’,” she added.

The ‘Hitch’ star had recently grabbed headlines when the actress said that she plans to scribble a love letter for her idol Kate Winslet appreciating her acting talents.
