Latin superstar Enrique Iglesias is following in the virtual footsteps of Lady Gaga.

Latin superstar Enrique Iglesias is following in the virtual footsteps of Lady Gaga by joining the world of gaming on a social network.

The 36-year-old singer has teamed up with video game bosses at Zynga to create an avatar of himself for its popular CityVille title,reported Contactmusic.

Iglesias’ fans will be able to interact with his avatar and collect items he is regularly associated with,like his hats,boots and a speed boat similar to the one he owned in Miami,Florida. They’ll also be able to get access to the special previews of his new promos via the game.

“I thought the fans would get a kick out of it,” he said.

Iglesias’ avatar will appear online next week.

Gaga previously used Zynga’s FarmVille game to debut tracks from her latest album ‘Born This Way’. Her spin-off was dubbed GagaVille.
