Actress Emma Watson and Rupert Grint,who played the on-screen pair Hermione and Ron in the Harry Potter movies,have emerged as the highest-earning on-screen couple of the past five years.
In the new list compiled by Forbes magazine and Box Office Mojo based on on-screen chemistry and box office success,Watson and Grint raked in USD 4.2 billion,reported Daily Mirror.
On and off screen couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart of ‘The Twilight Saga’ films earned USD 2.5 billion and ‘Transformers’ co-stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox are third with earnings of USD 1.5 billion.
Rounding out the top five are Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow for their ‘Iron Man’ films,Johnny Depp and Penelope Cruz for ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’,’Inception’s’ Leonardo DiCaprio and Marion Cotillard,and ‘Sex and the City’s’ Sarah Jessica Parker and Chris Noth.
