Eminem gives bizarre TV interview
Eminem appeared in an interview during ESPN's football halftime show to promote the new single.
Eminem declared that there was nothing exciting about Berzerk in a bizarre appearance during ESPN’s football halftime show to promote the new single.
When ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit and co-host Brent Musburger first started the Q&A,Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, was all glassy-eyed before admitting,”Live TV freaks me out a little bit.”
When asked by Herbstreit what excited him most about his
upcoming album Marshall Mathers LP 2,a follow up to his 2000 Marshall Mathers LP,the 13-time Grammy-winner responded: “Nothing.”
“It’ll be out November 5… I’ll probably be most excited to just be done with it,” he added.
Eminem,40,rarely comes for a live TV appearances and it seems that he agreed to be on camera for ESPN’s sport-centric coverage. He even tweeted about his Saturday appearance.
“I’m gonna stop by the game to intro the video myself…
I’ll be live on @espn at halftime. #BERZERK (sic),” he posted.
While on the show, the Detroit native was most comfortable
discussing his favourite team, the Detroit Lions. His latest
single will be the new theme song for the popular Saturday
Night Football broadcast.
“It is kind of a revisit to the first Marshall Mathers LP. And that’s pretty much all I can probably say about it,” he said.
Eminem seemed in awe of Musburger, saying,”Just like they
have fantasy football,I’ve got you on my fantasy announcer
team.”
But when Musburger returned the favour by recounting Eminem’s musical achievements, the rapper replied,”I’m really uncomfortable right now.”
