Sir Bob Geldof has confessed that he was almost on the verge of killing himself after his 20 years marriage with Paula Yates broke-up.

Geldof,59,said he battled universes of grief and the only reason he restrained from taking the extreme step was because of his young daughters Fifi Trixibelle,Peaches and Pixie.

I was beyond depressed. When she left I was distraught. I loved her very much and I didnt understand why. I never saw it coming,so I just floated.
