Anupam Kher worried over corruption
Kher will be hosting the show 'Bajaj Allianz Discover India with Anupam Kher'.
Bollywood actor Anupam Kher today joined the country’s eminent people in expressing concern over a series of scams surfacing in the recent past.
“I feel this is a time when our country is going through a lot of turmoil. We’re trying to find out who has made how much money,” Kher said at the launch of a quiz show in the capital.
Earlier on the Republic Day,Salman Khan had tweeted calling for removal of corruption from public life.
“Corruption hatao(remove) guys,we are all guilty of it…”.
Bollywood stars seem to have taken a cue for raising their voice against scams from an open letter written to the country’s leaders by eminent persons and industrialists,including Azim Premji.
In the recent past,the country has been rocked by a series of scams in Telecom,Commonwealth Games and Adarsh Housing Society.
Kher will be hosting the show ‘Bajaj Allianz Discover India with Anupam Kher’,that will be aired on Star Plus from February 13.
