Archana Puran Singh and her husband, Parmeet Sethi, are currently vacationing in her home town of Dehradun, amid torrential rains. They were joined in their latest vlog by their sons, Aaryamann Sethi and Ayushmaan Sethi, and Aaryamann’s fiance, Yogita Bihani. The agenda of the new vlog was to try out the three best spots selling a Dehradun delicacy, bun-tikki. Archana said that she grew up on the snack, which is very popular in Uttarakhand and Punjab. The family ventured out into town during a downpour, but the street food made up for the discomfort.

A protective Aaryamann kept telling Yogita to not walk in the centre of the road, especially during the rains. “Yeh hamesha road ke beech mein aa jaati hai, mujhe dar lagta hai. Aap idhar aao (She keeps moving to the centre of the road, I get worried. Come here),” he said to her, grabbing her by the arm and pulling her towards the side. “Then she gets sad. I tell her if something happens to her, nobody will be as sad as me,” he said, as Archana said ‘very good’ to his protectiveness. “Aisa kuch nahi hoga. Yogi, achi baat hai yeh tumhare baare mein sochta hai itna (Nothing will happen to her. Yogi, it’s a good thing he worries about you).”

They arrived at their first spot, where each of them was blown away by the bun-tikkis. Yogita said that nobody should eat at McDonald’s with such a wonderful snack also available, while Parmeet wondered if they could start selling bun-tikkis in Mumbai. It was at the first stop that Aaryamann set up a joke that he didn’t yet have the punchline for. He told everybody to hang tight while he thinks of one. One the ride to the next spot, he worriedly confessed to Yogita that he still doesn’t have a punchline, and she reassured him that he’d come up with something. When he finally did, Yogita wasn’t impressed. “This was the best that you could do?” she asked him.

Aaryamann asked his father if he felt that the bun-tikki was too spicy for him, and Parmeet said that it wasn’t. Aaryamann joked, “Toh yeh bun teekhi nahi thi?” Everyone laughed at his lame joke, but Yogita was again quite let down by his sense of humour. “I am getting more and more worried with every passing day,” she said, as Ayushmann joked, “Tumhare bachchon mein yeh traits hone waale hain (These are the traits your kids will inherit).”

Archana and the others hit their final spot, and then revealed their favourite of the bunch. As usual, their fans were very appreciative of them. “Aary is so protective towards Yogita,” one person commented with heart emojis. “Both Sethi brothers are gentlemen,” the fan added. Archana’s channel will soon hit 1 million subscribers, and is currently sitting at 961,000 mark.
