Watch: Aik Chidiya Anek Chidiya in Sushant Singh Rajput,Parineeti Chopra’s new age Shudh Desi Romance

The Doordarshan short film song hints at flirtatious nature of Sushant's character in the movie.

The teaser trailers of Sushant Singh Rajput and Parineeti Chopra’s Shudh Desi Romance will surely transport you back to the 70s.

Like its first look,which had a collage of yesteryear images and hand painted posters of the actors,the sound clip of the trailers has Doordarshan’s short film song Ek Chidiyya Anek Chidiyya,hinting at flirtatious nature of Sushant’s character in the movie.

The first teaser trailer shows Kai Po Che fame Sushant (Raghu) romancing National Award winning actress Parineeti (Gayatri).

Parineeti’s character seems bold – like that of her previous films (Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Ishqzade). The promos also show her smoking.

The second teaser trailer shows Sushant cosying up with newcomer Vaani Kapoor. This YRF find seems a contrast to Parineeti.

So here comes a fresh and very real love story about the hair raising minefield between love,attraction and commitment.

The film has been directed by Maneesh Sharma,who has in the past directed two rom-coms for the Yash Raj Films – Band Baaja Baaraat and Ladies vs Ricky Bahl.

Releasing on September 13,the film seems to step back into the bygone era of Bollywood romance.

The movie also features veteran actor Rishi Kapoor. Shudh Desi Romance is written by Jaideep Sahni and produced by Aditya Chopra.
