Vivek Oberoi, who is known for his films such as Saathiya (2002) and Shootout At Lokhandwala (2007), is also a businessman, living in Dubai. In a recent interview, the actor revealed the reason behind him shifting to Dubai from Mumbai. He shared he wasn’t planning on living there, but life had a different plan.
In an interview with News18, Vivek Oberoi shared, “I initially went to Dubai for a little while–to start my business. God has been kind, and our business flourished. It expanded so much that today we are a family of 400 people.”
Talking about Dubai, he shared in the same interview, “In Dubai, its real estate, collaboration with large brands, bringing them into lifestyle. Our company, BnW developments–we are doing some ultra luxury projects with the new casinos coming. So we are doing eight buildings there. I have a little startup ecosystem here. God’s been kind to me, Dubai has been good to me. It’s been a success story here.”
The actor has been living in the city for around three years. He owns a luxurious house which has a garden, pool, and a very aesthetic interiors. However, the actor claimed, “Every time I go to Mumbai, I don’t feel like leaving. You will ask me where is home, and I will still say Mumbai. I love Dubai, I love part living here and part living there. It’s mix of best of both worlds.”
On the work front, Vivek Oberoi was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s web series, The Indian Police Force, alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra.
