The power couple of Bollywood, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are yet to star together in a movie. But whenever someone would cast them together, Vicky wants to “play to his strength”, and essay the role of a ‘silent guy’. He wants Katrina to play the role of a talkative person, as that is how she is in her real life. Also, he shared that working with his wife would mean having two directors, one who would correct him on the set and another, in Katrina, who would point out all his mistakes at home.
Recently on the YouTube show, ‘Be A Man Yaar’, Vicky shared what kind of roles he would want for himself and Katrina if they are cast together. He said, “I keep telling her that if we get any film, then the character should also be such that we are playing to our strengths. Where I will be the silent guy, you will be the talkative person and we are coming together. So I think we will go in sync with what works for us.”
He also said in jest that he often tells Katrina that working with her would mean she will be the second director of the film, who will point out his mistakes after coming back home. “I told her that on set, there will be two directors for me because one director on set and then one director would be there who would come home and say that this was not right and this was wrong and it should be like this and like that.”
On being suggested a role reversal in reel life and becoming a talkative man on the screen, Vicky promptly disagreed, “That’s a conflict you don’t want to invite. Because on set, all the professionalism will be there, where I will be the talkative person and she will be the quieter person. Then, after coming home, it will be the opposite and then it will be a conflict.”
Vicky Kaushal also shared that he is a person who calms himself in ‘solitude’ whenever he is agitated, but Katrina is a person who would want to talk, discuss and just solve the problem.
The Uri star shared, “Our initial few arguments I used to say ki listen, ‘I don’t get to talk’ and she is a person who loves to talk. I am a person who loves to listen, but when you are on two opposite ends and you are trying to come to an understanding, talk-listen, talk-listen, we both have to exchange that role. So it was our internal joke that, more than ‘I love you’, I have said ‘Let me talk’. So, these were the three magical words between the both of us and we have laughed so much about it.”
Vicky KusVicky Kaushal and Katrina got married in December 2021, after dating each other for a few years. Their wedding was a grand affair and was attended by their close friends and family members.
