The actor took to his Instagram handle and shared glimpses from Chhaava’s music launch. Along with the pictures, he wrote, “#CHHAAVA MUSIC LAUNCH! Last night we got to witness, share and live some of that ARR magic!!! To see him perform live all songs of #Chhaava was nothing short of being in a trance. Him giving live score on a piano to my recitation of dialogues… all of it in the presence of my Parents… has to be a new core memory for me which I’ll truly cherish. Grateful to the most amazing team. Blessed to be a part of Chhaava… blessed to be #Chhaava. IN CINEMAS TOMORROW!!! @arrahman.”

During the event, music director AR Rahman talked about composing for Chhaava. He said, “We often find ourselves thinking about how your music has a lasting impact—people end up viewing it as a benchmark for timelessness. But when you sit down to compose for a film, I’m sure that’s not your focus. What is your process?”

The music composer added, “It’s all about connection. Art is about connection—whether it provokes emotions or triggers something deeper within. When it comes to movies, it’s about capturing multiple emotions. In Chhaava, the experience was very physical—it’s war to war. Some moments are loud, some are soft, some are spiritual, while others are intense war sequences.”

AR Rahman also took an indirect dig at Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina who have courted controversy with the latest episode of India’s Got Latent. When Vicky Kaushal asked Rahman to describe his music in three emoticons, the music composer replied, “The one with the mouth closed.” He added, “I think in the past week we have seen what all happens when the mouth opens.” After the crowd reacted to the comments positively, Vicky laughed and said, “Talk about roasting.”

Chhaava is scheduled to hit theatres on February 14. Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles.
