Bollywood’s own Khiladi Akshay, Akshay Kumar, turned 58 on September 9. Like every years fans were eagerly waiting for Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna’s fun and pun filled birthday post for the star. On Wednesday morning, Twinkle Khanna shared an inside photos from Akshay’s special day which seemed like a card-themed party. Twinkle’s post also shared how the bash started at ‘7 a.m. and ended with cards and karaoke in the evening’.

While many friends of Akshay Kumar Kareena Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, and Ajay Devgn shared warm wishes for the actor on his special day, wife Twinkle Khanna has lived up to their fans’ expectations. Like always, Twinkle’s post had a dash of quirkiness.

In the photo shared by Twinkle, the birthday boy looked dapper dressed in a black hoodie and wearing a funky card-themed shades while Twinkle aka Mrs Funnybones can be seen dressed in red with a furry stole around her neck. She is also sporting a joker nose in the picture and holding up a giant joker card cut-out, with Akshay by her side.

Twinkle’s post caption read, “Birthday celebrations that started at 7 a.m. and ended with cards and karaoke in the evening. The birthday boy is known for always winning, I wonder if it’s because he has a certain joker by his side, if not in his hand. :)”

Fans have been pouring love in the comment section. Akshay also celebrated his birthday with his fans at a fan fest. Akshay arrived for the gala event with his better half Twinkle. Sharing a clip from the event, the actor wrote, “Dil se thank you to each and every one of you…jo aaye aur jo nahi aa paaye aur dur se apna pyaar bheja. Aap sabke bina yeh din itna khaas nahi hota. Yeh sirf mera birthday nahi tha, hum sabka celebration tha ❤️ Aapke yeh pyaar ke liye dil se dhanyavaad. Big love always, my Akkians 🙏.”

On the work front, Akshay Kumar is busy shooting for the Hindi adaptation of Mohanlal’s acclaimed 2016 Malayalam thriller Oppam, where he stars alongside Saif Ali Khan. He has also wrapped up work on Bhooth Bangla, and is gearing up for the release of his next Jolly LLB 3, co-starring Arshad Warsi and Saurabh Shukla.
