Tiger 3 box office collection Day 13 early reports: Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif struggles to cross the Rs 2 crore mark
Tiger 3 box office collection: With such an underwhelming performance at the ticket counters, it looks like a tough task for the Salman Khan film to earn as much as the previous film in the franchise, Tiger Zinda Hai.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s spy-thriller Tiger 3 has slowed down significantly at the box office. While it was expected to have a collection at par with Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Jawan, it has not even earned half of what both the films earned during their lifetime. On its second Friday, the film’s collection fell to around Rs 2.27 crore from Thursday’s Rs 5.12 crore.
As per early estimates (posted at 7 pm) by industry tracker Sacnilk, Tiger 3 had Hindi occupancy of 7.85% and 10.14% in the morning and afternoon shows, respectively. The film’s total domestic collection after 13 days stands at Rs 257.14 crore. With such an underwhelming performance at the ticket counters, it looks like a tough task for the Maneesh Sharma directorial to even earn as much as the previous film in the franchise, Tiger Zinda Hai. It earned Rs 339.16 crore upon its release in 2017.
Tiger 3 was released on the day of Diwali and earned Rs 44.5 crore. But the film couldn’t sustain the festive footfall, and its collection started to witness a fall after Bhai Dooj. Now, it has just another week to end its run in theatres with a decent total.
On December 1, Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal will hit the screens, posing stiff competition to Tiger 3. Both films have immense buzz among the audience. According to Sacnilk, Animal is expected to generate Rs 50 crore on its opening day, which is higher than what Tiger 3 earned on the day of its release.
Tiger 3 is the latest addition to producer Aditya Chopra’s spy universe. It all started with Ek Tha Tiger in 2012 and Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017, and later expanded to include War in 2019 with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, and the recent film Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
