The much-anticipated trailer for Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film, Tejas, has finally been unveiled on Indian Air Force Day, giving audiences a glimpse of her portrayal as an Air Force Pilot embarking on a daring mission. In this gripping narrative, Kangana’s character is assigned the critical task of rescuing an Indian spy held captive in Pakistan, all while confronting and neutralising terrorists concealed in a remote part of the neighbouring nation.

The trailer opens with Kangana’s senior officers entrusting her with this high-stakes mission. As a crucial member of the team, she is entrusted with the responsibility of rescuing an Indian engineer-turned-spy detained by terrorists in Pakistan. This engineer possesses vital information vital to the nation’s security. During the exhilarating two-minute trailer, viewers witness Kangana in the midst of intense air-to-air combat.

Kangana Ranaut delivers some strong dialogues in the trailer, such as “Bharat ko chhedoge toh chhodenge nahi” (If you provoke India, we won’t spare you) and “Zaroori nahi hai har baar baatcheet hone chahiye, jung ke maidan mein ab jung honi chahiye” (It’s not necessary to have negotiations every time; now there should be war in the battlefield). These dialogues had already gained attention when featured in the film’s teaser, which was released on October 2.

Prior to the trailer launch, Kangana Ranaut had shared images from her meetings with real-life Air Force officers who were on the set of Tejas. In an Instagram post, Kangana expressed her excitement, saying, “My herogiri turned in to total fangiri when asli Air Force officers/ soldiers landed in the same hangar as we are shooting our movie Tejas …. They already knew about this upcoming movie and showed eagerness to watch it … this brief meeting was absolutely pleasant and encouraging…. Jai Hind.”

Tejas is written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara. Originally scheduled for release on October 20, the film’s release date has been pushed back by a week, and it is now slated to hit theaters on October 27.
