The teaser for the Kangana Ranaut-starrer Tejas has been unveiled, accompanied by a new release date. Written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the movie features Ranaut portraying the character of an Indian Air Force pilot. Initially slated for release on October 20, Tejas release date has now been pushed back by a week, and it is set to hit theaters on October 27.

The teaser provides a glimpse of Kangana as an Air Force pilot. The begins with a fighter jet leaving its hanger as Kangana prepares for her flight. The clip shows Kangana getting ready as these words play in the background, “Zarrori nahi hai har bar baatcheet hone chahiye, jung ke maidan mein ab jung hone chahiye. Hogaeya hai mere vatan pe ab bahut he sitam. Ab toh aakash se barish nahi aag barasni chahiye. Bharat ko chhedoge toh chhodenge nahi. (The necessity of dialogue every time is not required; now, there should be a battle in the battlefield. Bharat has suffered too much cruelty. Now, instead of rain, there should be fire raining from the sky. If you provoke my Bharat, we will not let you go unpunished.”

Earlier today, Kangana shared a new poster for Tejas while announcing the revised release date. The poster features her wearing a flight helmet, running alongside a fighter jet, with a backdrop depicting a bomb blast. Kangana captioned it, “Jab bhi baat desh ki aayegi, woh saari hadein paar kar jaayegi! #TeaserOutToday #Tejas In cinemas on 27th Oct.”

Previously, Kangana Ranaut had shared images from her meeting with real-life Air Force officers on the set of Tejas. In an Instagram post, Kangana wrote, “My herogiri turned in to total fangiri when asli Air Force officers/ soldiers landed in the same hangar as we are shooting our movie Tejas …. They already knew about this upcoming movie and showed eagerness to watch it … this brief meeting was absolutely pleasant and encouraging…. Jai Hind.”
