The actor posted the video and wrote, “Because probably the need of the hour today is to learn to take a joke on yourself, I thought why not start at home. What better way to turn a year maturer :)”.

At the roast, Taapsee was asked who is that one celebrity and politician that she wants to roast, at which point Abish walks out of the frame saying, “Thank you, good night,” leaving the actor in splits. The actor is then heard saying, “Bahar police toh nahi aayi na?”

On the work front, Taapsee has had one of the busiest post-pandemic slates for Hindi films actors, with consecutive releases starting from Rashmi Rocket, Haseen Dillruba, Shabaash Mithu, Looop Lapeta, Dobaaraa and Blurr, which marked her production debut.

She also has a packed line-up ahead starting with superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film is scheduled to release in December this year. Taapsee will also be seen in the sequel of Haseen Dillruba titled Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba and Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan? co-starring Pratik Gandhi.
