Taapsee Pannu on Amitabh Bachchan: It was intimidating working with him
Taapsee Pannu will be having a very busy second half of 2016 as she has a lot of films in her kitty.

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu, who is just two films old in the Hindi film industry, will be having a very busy second half of 2016 as she has a lot of films in her kitty. She was last seen in Akshay Kumar-starrer Baby in the year 2015.
Taapsee, who is presently shooting in London with Saqib Saleem for her next, will be finishing her schedule for Tadka, which is Prakash Raj’s directorial debut in Bollywood. It also stars Ali Fazal who will be next seen in Aanand L Rai’s Happy Bhaag Jayegi opposite Diana Penty, Abhay Deol and Jimmy Sheirgill.
Taapsee, who has worked with Prakash Raj in south films, had shared, “Prakash Raj has directed a few films in South but this is going to be his first film in Hindi as a director. He is crazy. I’ve worked with him as an actor in two films in Telugu, so this is the first time I’m working with him as a director. I think I like him as a director much more. Probably as an actor we don’t really get to interact that much but because he is the director now I get to know a lot more about him and how he thinks.”
The actress has also signed another project with Neeraj Pandey’s production for which she will start shooting. She will be seen with Amitabh Bachchan in Pink soon.
Taking about her experience working with Big B, she had said, “It was intimidating working with Mr Bachchan… I can remember the first shot with him. It was the easiest shot you can imagine. I had to just sleep. He was sitting and talking to one of the co actors in the shot and I had to just lie down on the sofa and sleep. I had to give so many retakes for that shot because I couldn’t keep my eyes still, they were always flickering. I was excited, not nervous.”
Ghazi, a bilingual movie, where Rana Daggubati and Taapsee worked together will also release later this year. It is India’s first submarine movie, based on the true incidents of the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi, a Pakistan Submarine, by INS Rajput (D141) during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Post Ghazi, she will start shooting for her another project directed by Ratna Sinha starring Rajkummar Rao.
