After Main Tera Hero, Judwaa 2, and Coolie No. 1, Varun Dhawan is reuniting with his father, David Dhawan, for a new comedy film produced by Ramesh Taurani. Recently, rumours surfaced on social media about Telugu actor Sreeleela quitting the movie. However, Taurani has clarified that Sreeleela was never part of the film in the first place.

In a statement, the film producer revealed that the makers haven’t yet finalised any actress opposite Varun in the film. He said, “We have not yet approached anyone for the role. We are still in the process of finalising the cast. The first schedule has just been completed, and we will make an official announcement once we have locked someone for that role. Until then, we request audiences not to believe any rumors.”

Sreeleela is a well-known face in Telugu cinema and has starred in films like Dhamaka, Skanda, Bhagavanth Kesari, Aadikeshava and Guntur Kaaram.

As for Varun Dhawan, he has Jawan director Atlee’s Baby John in the pipeline. The film is a Hindi-language remake of Atlee’s Tamil film Theri (2013). Varun will also feature in Raj and DK’s Citadel: Honey Bunny, an India-set spin-off of the American spy show Citadel, which starred Priyanka Chopra in the lead role. He will once again share the screen with Janhvi Kapoor after Bawaal in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, produced by Karan Johar.
