Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 7: Singham Again has completed its first week at the ticket windows. The Rohit Shetty film starring Ajay Devgn in the eponymous role and with a veritable roll call of Bollywood who’s who in the film — Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Salman Khan — it has made a total domestic collection of Rs 173 crore in the first week. According to Sacnilk, the film recorded an approximate 25 percent drop in the collections on Thursday, bringing in Rs 8.75 Cr India net on its seventh day for all languages, as compared to Rs 10.25 crore on Wednesday. The film is expected to reach Rs 250 crore globally in the second week.
Singham Again box office collection over the first week
The Ajay Devgn starrer franchise film started on Friday with an impressive Rs 43.5 crore opening day box office collection despite facing tough competition from another strong franchise film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, starring Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit. Singham Again was performing well on the weekend, minting Rs 42.5 crore on Saturday and Rs 35.75 crore on Sunday. But, its collections began to dip as the festive weekend ended.
Besides Ajay Devgn, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Currently, Singham Again is at the 8th highest-grossing film of 2024, while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 stands at the 10th position. Recently, during a conversation with Hindustan Times, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 director Anees Bazmee talked about his film’s clash with Singham Again. “Both the films have fared well. I am happy with both films. The audience has shown equal love to both the films, and it is enough for us. It is a minute number. Such a small thing doesn’t make any difference. Koi film 2 rupaiye zyada hai, aur koi kum… What matters is that both the films have done good business and brought huge crowds to the theatres,” he said.
