Sikandar ka Muqaddar trailer: The era of Muqaddar Ka Sikandar (King of Destiny) has passed; and now, Sikandar Ka Muqaddar (Sikandar’s Destiny) takes centre stage as director Neeraj Pandey gears up to make a powerful return with an edge-of-the-seat heist thriller. At the heart of Sikandar Ka Muqaddar is a diamond heist involving three primary suspects — Mangesh Desai (Rajeev Mehta), Kamini Singh (Tamannaah Bhatia) and Sikandar Sharma (Avinash Tiwary) — and a cop, Jaswinder Singh (Jimmy Shergill), who relies on his moolvriti (instincts) to identify the real culprit.

On Monday, the makers of the movie unveiled its 148-second trailer, offering a preview of an intense story that follows a police officer’s relentless quest to solve the heist. As the stakes rise, questions emerge: are the three suspects truly guilty or is there more to the story than meets the eye? Set across two time periods separated by a 15-year gap, the trailer starts with the events of 2008, when the crime initially occurred. Jaswinder’s investigation gradually blurs the line between guilt and innocence, turning his pursuit into a consuming obsession that disrupts the lives of Kamini and Sikandar, driving them into hiding.

The trailer then shifts 15 years forward, showing Sikandar’s decision to confront Jaswinder and seek answers for all that has transpired.. “You didn’t let me live a dignified life Jaswinder saab,” he says, to which the cop replies, “I didn’t let you die either, Sikandar,” heightening the tension.

“As a storyteller, one always looks to create something for the audience which is thrilling, engaging and entertaining and that is exactly what we have endeavoured with Sikandar Ka Muqaddar. It’s been quite a journey directing this film with a cast that does justice to the characters that they are portraying. Strengthening the partnership further, between Netflix and Friday Storytellers, we are thrilled to bring forth this story to our audiences worldwide,” Neeraj Pandey says about the narrative that intertwines obsession and mystery. The film premieres on Netflix on November 29.
