Shatrughan Sinha says he understands why sons Luv-Kussh skipped Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding: ‘They have their pain, confusion…’

He expressed his happiness over his daughter’s marriage and said, “I was enjoying her wedding parties. I was so overjoyed meeting and greeting people. They (Sonakshi and Zaheer) looked very beautiful together. There was an amazing atmosphere.”

Shatrughan Sinha also addressed his sons not being a part of the wedding. Refusing to react to why their sons took the decision of skipping their sister’s wedding altogether, the veteran star said that he also understands their pain and confusion. “I won’t complain. They are only humans. They maybe still not be so mature. I do understand their pain and confusion. There is always cultural reaction. Maybe, if I was their age, I might have had a similar reaction to it. But, here is where your maturity, seniority, and experience comes in place. Hence, my reaction was not as extreme as my sons.”

Sonakshi Sinha married her Double XL co-star Zaheer on June 23 at her residence in Mumbai. On the same night, the couple hosted a grand reception party for their industry friends. It was attended by Salman Khan, Rekha, and Kajol, among others.

While her brother Kussh said he was actually a part of the celebrations and called it a ‘sensitive time for the family’, Luv Sinha had commented in a cryptic X post, “The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend, and would not associate with some people no matter what. I’m glad a member of the media did their research instead of relying on creative stories being put out by a PR team.”
