Shatrughan Sinha hints at ‘pre-wedding conflicts’ ahead of Sonakshi Sinha-Zaheer Iqbal’s wedding, assures ‘stress has been sorted’

All this while there were rumours that Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are set to tie the knot on June 23, however, it seems like the couple won’t have a wedding ceremony on Sunday but just a grand wedding reception, according to veteran actor and Sonkashi’s father Shatrughan Sinha. In a recent interview, the yesteryear actor revealed that all is well in the Sinha family and they are all pumped up for the couple to be married.

In a conversation with Times Now, the veteran actor said that he won’t be giving out details as this was a “family matter” but he shared, “Yes, my wife and I are very much a part of the celebrations on June 23.” When asked about the wedding function on June 23, the veteran actor corrected, “No, it is not the wedding. It is the wedding reception that we are all attending on the evening of June 23.”

He further corrected the misinformation about the couple tying the knot and said, “No one from my family said anything about a wedding. Some media outlets have just been presuming things. Too much attention is being given to something that is a private family matter. Shadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain (Everyone has weddings in their family).” He also assured that everything was well now but did mention that there was some “stress” previously. “Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted,” he said.

He added, “Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, it doesn’t mean Sonakshi can’t have what she wants in life. We are going to have a lot of fun on June 23.”

On Friday, photo of the couple seemingly from their mehendi ceremony was leaked online. In the photo, the couple could be seen posing with a bunch of friends in ethnic attire and smiling for the camera. While Sonakshi wore a blood red ethnic wear, Zaheer was seen donning a red and white kurta pajama.
