Shahid Kapoor’s wedding update: Grand reception on July 12, all co-stars invited

Shahid Kapoor is all set to break many a heart as he gets married in the first week of July to Delhi-based Mira Rajput.

While the actual wedding date is still under wraps, rumour has it that on July 12, the ‘Haider’ star will host a grand reception for his friends from the industry. The wedding ceremony, on the contrary, will be a low-key affair with only family members in attendance and few close friends from the industry that include ‘Haider’ director Vishal Bharadwaj.

According to a report published in Times of India, Shahid Kapoor is inviting every colleague of his to the reception party. “Shahid wishes to introduce Mira to everyone. He will invite all his co-stars and well-wishers. As he begins a new chapter in his life, he wants to seek the good wishes of people who have been a part of his journey,” the report says.
