Shahid Kapoor wedding update: 10 outfits created, a mix of Indian and western for the groom

Shahid Kapoor’s wedding is the next big thing and the preparations for the same are at its peak. Shahid, who will tie to knot with Delhi-based Mira Rajput on Tuesday (July 7) at Oberoi hotel in Gurgaon, has his friends working for his wedding.

Designer Kunal Rawal, who shot to fame by becoming the youngest designer to feature in Lakme India Fashion Week-2006, has been devoting his entire time to Shahid Kapoor’s wedding outfit.

According to media reports, 10 outfits have been created for different ceremonies. Kunal has included a few western outfits and a lot of ethnic wear such as kurtas, sherwani and bandhgala ensembles.

Rumour also has it that Shahid and Mira will be wearing colour co-ordinated outfits for their wedding ceremonies. Mira wil wear Anamika Khanna-designed clothes.

Kunal, who is a close friend of Shahid, has a group of tailors working for his friend’s wedding trousseau. Kunal is himself totally involved in the designing and making of the special outfit and is leaving no stone unturned in making it the best. Shahid has earlier walked on the ramp for the designer along with actor Arjun Kapoor.
