On the occasion, a special teaser revealing the project’s title was also released and much to the delight of all, it featured Bollywood’s “Baadshah” Shah Rukh Khan himself, setting the series in motion. The event became even more vibrant as Shah Rukh, along with his wife Gauri Khan and their daughter, actor Suhana Khan, participated in the celebrations, cheering for Aryan Khan.
While addressing the gathering, Shah Rukh set aside his superstar persona and embraced his role as a proud father, expressing his heartfelt wish for his children to receive the love and blessings he has enjoyed from movie lovers worldwide throughout his career. He said, “Guzaarish aur bahut dil se main chaahunga ki mere bete jo apna pehla kadam rakh rahe hai direction mein, mere beti jo actress ban rahi hai, un sabko bhi 50 per cent pyaar bhi agar ye duniya dede jitna mujhe diya hai toh bahut zyada hoga (I request and wish from the bottom of my heart that my son, who is taking his first step in film direction, and my daughter, who is becoming an actor, if they receive even 50 per cent of the love the world has given me, it would be too much).”
He added, “I just want to thank all the colleagues that I have, who participated in the series; they have done so well. I had the opportunity to watch a few episodes of the series. It’s really nice and very funny. I love funny things. Mere jokes pe log bura maan jaate hai, takleef ho jaati hai. Toh maine jokes karna chod diya. Maine ye virasat apne bete ko de diya. Maine kaha ‘jaa beta, baap ka naam raushan kar’ (People often take offence to my jokes, so I have stopped joking. I have passed this to my son Aryan and told him ‘Go make your father proud’).”

“Behind the glamour of Bollywood lies a world just as dramatic as the films themselves — and that is where the Netflix series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood begins. Through Aryan Khan’s distinct lens, this series dives into the glitz, the chaos, the comedy, and the high stakes of an industry built on dreams. From the house of Red Chillies Entertainment, this collaboration with Netflix brings to life a story that is as bold and entertaining as the movies we have come to love. We can’t wait for audiences to experience this with us,” the show’s team shared.
