When Mohanlal danced to some of the most popular dance numbers at a recent award ceremony, his fans just could not stop cheering for him. Mohanlal danced to Jawan’s “Zinda Banda” and now, Shah Rukh Khan has reacted to the video clip that is being widely shared on X.
Responding to Mohanlal’s video, SRK wrote, “Thank u @Mohanlal sir for making this song the most special for me now. Wish I had done it half as good as you. Love u sir and waiting for dinner at home as and when. You are the OG Zinda Banda!!!”
Mohanlal responded to SRK’s tweet and wrote, “Dear @iamsrk, nobody can do it like you! You are and always will be the OG Zinda Banda in your classic, inimitable style. Thanks for your kind words. Also, just dinner? Why not groove to some Zinda Banda over breakfast, too?”
In Jawan, Shah Rukh danced to the song “Zinda Banda” with Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra among many others. Jawan was directed by Atlee, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. Jawan, which released in 2023, became the biggest hit of Shah Rukh Khan’s career. Jawan also became the bighest Hindi grosser of all time as it mad Rs 643.87 crore nett in India, as per Bollywood Hungama. Globally, the film Rs 1160 crore, as per Sacnilk, and was one of the two films of SRK in 2023 that made over Rs 1000 crore globally. Pathaan, which released in January 2023, also made over Rs 1000 crore globally.
Shah Rukh Khan is yet to officially announce his next film. His next film is reportedly titled The King and will also star his daughter Suhana Khan. SRK took a hiatus from the movies after the failure of 2018’s The Zero. He came back to the screen in 2023 with Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki.
