Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer-Deepika, Katrina-Vicky reach Aditya Chopra’s home to mourn Pamela Chopra’s demise
Pamela Chopra, mother of Aditya Chopra and Uday Chopra, passed away on Thursday. Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Karan Johar mourned her demise.

Late filmmaker Yash Chopra’s wife, Pamela Chopra, passed away on Thursday due to pneumonia. She was the mother of YRF’s head honcho Aditya Chopra and actor Uday Chopra. Her funeral took place in Mumbai and many celebrities from the Hindi film industry reached Aditya Chopra’s house to express their condolence to the family.
Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan were photographed entering Aditya Chopra’s house to pay their last respects to Pamela. Shah Rukh was with son Aryan Khan. Uday Chopra reached the crematorium along with Sonu Nigam for the funeral of his mother. Hrithik Roshan and his father Rakesh Roshan also expressed their condolence on the passing away of Pamela. Later, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, and Kajol also arrived to pay their last respects to Pamela Chopra.
Yash Raj Films released a statement informing that Pamela Chopra’s funeral took place at 11 am on Thursday. It read, “With heavy hearts, the Chopra family would like to inform that Pamela Chopra, 74, passed away this morning. Her cremation took place at 11 am in Mumbai. We are grateful for your prayers and the family would like to request for privacy in this deep moment of sadness and reflection.”

Pamela Chopra was credited as the writer, producer and costume designer in some of the YRF films. She sang Chandni’s ‘Main Sasural Nahi Jaungi’ and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’s ‘Ghar Aaja Pardesi’ along with Manpreet Kaur. She was last seen in Netflix’s docu-series The Romantics.
