After Jawan’s Rs 1022 crore haul, Shah Rukh Khan announces ‘Buy 1 Get 1’ offer on film’s tickets: ‘Wholesome entertainment with the whole family’

Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan crossed the Rs 1000 crore mark a couple of days ago and has now become one of the highest worldwide grossers of Hindi cinema of all time. Jawan is the highest-grossing film of Shah Rukh Khan’s career and on Wednesday, the star announced that the film’s tickets will now be available under the ‘Buy 1 Get 1’ scheme. Hours after his #AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter), where Shah Rukh suggested that there might be a discount on the film’s tickets in the coming days, he shared the announcement on his social media handles.

He shared, “Toh kal se… Parivaar, yaar aur pyaar… Just Buy 1 ticket and get the other 1 FREE!* Wholesome entertainment with the whole family.”

Bhai ko, behen ko…
Dushman ko, Yaar ko…
And of course, apne Pyaar ko…
Kal Jawan dikhaaiyega!

Chacha-Chachi, Phoopha-Phoophi, Maama-Maami…

When one of his fans shared on Twitter that they had already spent Rs 4,000 on the film’s tickets, Shah Rukh replied, “Go go there is a discount chance now!!! Hey @RedChilliesEnt kuch karo!!! #Jawan.” Another fan asked SRK to speak with his company’s HR department so they could arrange a movie screening for them. To this, Shah Rukh replied, “Please HR inko leke jao. Have just told @RedChilliesEnt to figure out a discount offer for all ha ha. If they listen it will be cheaper to take the whole office. U will become their favourite!! #Jawan.”

Another fan complained that the shows were houseful everywhere and Shah Rukh replied, “If you are going with your loved ones I will tell @RedChilliesEnt to arrange it for you. It’s on me! @gaurikhan @_GauravVerma please arrange tickets for all who want to go with their families and loved ones!!!”

Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, directed by Atlee, has minted Rs 1022 crore in 20 days, as per industry tracker Sacnilk. Jawan is all set to break Pathaan’s record as the January release made Rs 1050 crore at the global box office. Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, which also stars Taapsee Pannu.
