‘Shah Rukh Khan, come and help my son,’ requests Vijayta Pandit as she recalls his promise to late husband Aadesh Shrivastava on his death bed

She even went on to say that Shah Rukh has not kept in touch with the family since Aadesh’s death. “The number that was given to us is not working,” she added. Vijayta also added, “Main Shah Rukh ko yaad dilana chahti hu (I would like to remind Shah Rukh) that he was a good friend of Aadesh Shrivastava. This is the time Shah Rukh! We need you, come and help my son. He needs a little push. He can make a film under Red Chillies with Avitesh, he is such a good actor.” Aadesh’s son Avitesh is already working on his debut film, Sirf Ek Friday. Vijayta, who is the sister of composers Jatin-Lalit, also added how her brothers contributed to Shah Rukh’s career in the initial years.

Vijayta also said, “Shah Rukh Khan is a big star today, but my brothers have played a major role in his career. They gave a string of superhit songs for his films with Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Raju Ban Gaya Gentlemen, etc. He was new when he came, my brothers played a major role in his success. He will have to consider all this and do something for the family.”

Not only SRK, but Vijayta also spoke about Aadesh’s equation with Amitabh Bachchan. “They used to work together day and night. Amitji does come when there is any function for Avitesh. He had attended the launch of his first song, but now, he has stopped coming to our studio. He is not in touch with us now, but it’s time for him also to support my son because Aadesh gave him his comeback. Aadesh has done a lot for him. I never asked for financial help from him, but at least he can help out my son.”
