Actor Shah Rukh Khan was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad on Wednesday after suffering a heatstroke, and in a recent statement, Juhi Chawla shared updates about his health. Shah Rukh, who was in the city to support his Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders, was admitted to the city’s multi-specialty KD Hospital. After Shah Rukh was hospitalised, his wife Gauri Khan and KKR team co-owners Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta rushed to be by his side.
In a conversation with News 18, Juhi said that the actor was feeling better now and will hopefully be back in the stands to cheer for KKR at IPL final. She told News 18, “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night [Tuesday night] but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening [Wednesday]. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals.”
Gauri, Juhi and Jay visited Shah Rukh at the hospital and the videos of them reaching the hospital were shared online.
Shah Rukh attended Tuesday’s match in Ahmedabad, and did a victory lap around the stadium with his children, AbRam Khan and Suhana Khan. While doing the victory lap, Shah Rukh accidentally entered the frame of a post-match television show. As he waved towards the audience at the stadium, the actor did not realise that he had interrupted the live show. When he discovered what had happened, he apologised profusely on camera. Former cricketer Aakash Chopra, who was one of the hosts of the show said, “Oh, what a man! Legend! He did not even realise that he walked into the show. He was very apologetic, but I said, ‘You made our day. You are the showstopper’.”
Shah Rukh Khan is yet to officially announce his next film, although rumours are abound. Titled King, the film will also star Suhana. To be directed by Sujoy Ghosh (Kahaani, Jaane Jaan), the film will reportedly have “action of a global scale.” SRK had previously said that he will be playing a “more age real” role in his next film.
In 2023, Shah Rukh Khan made a massive comeback with the three biggest hits of his career, Jawan, Pathaan and Dunki. Combined, the three films grossed over Rs 2500 crore globally.
