Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel starrer, Gadar 2, emerged as a blockbuster by shattering several box-office records. Directed by Anil Sharma, the film is now on the cusp of crossing the Rs 500 crore mark in India. To celebrate this milestone, the film’s team hosted a lavish party on Saturday, which saw the who’s who of Bollywood in attendance.

The Deol family, including Sunny, Bobby Deol, Dharmendra, Karan Deol, Drisha Parmar, and Rajveer Deol, made a stylish entrance at the event and even posed together. The entire Gadar 2 team, including director Anil Sharma, also joined in for a group photo.

Shah Rukh Khan, who has not been posing for the paparazzi lately and making discreet entrances at events, made a grand appearance at the bash along with his wife, Gauri Khan. The couple walked in holding hands. Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan were also spotted at the event. Salman and Kartik Aaryan hugged and posed together. Salman also hugged Sara Ali Khan as she arrived with her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan. Johnny Lever and Sanjay Dutt also greeted each other and struck a pose together.

Suniel Shetty, Rajkummar Rao, Varun Dhawan, Boney Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Rakul Preet, Fardeen Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Chunky Pandey, Bhavana Pandey, Shilpa Shetty, Ananya Pandey, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Tabu, Kajol, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon among others were spotted arriving at the bash.

Gadar 2 also stars Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur, Luv Sinha, and Manish Wadhwa in pivotal roles. The makers are already planning for the third film in the franchise. Also, Anil Sharma, in an interview with indianexpress.com, shared how he and his team are working towards completing application procedures for the Academy Awards. He said, “People are calling me repeatedly to send the film to the Oscars.”
