Shahid Kapoor avoids questions about marriage and wife Mira Rajput with Alia Bhatt’s help

Film’s producer Karan Johar kickstarted the proceedings with a request to the media to keep the questions related to the event. To everybody’s surprise, it was Alia and director Vikas Bahl who ended up being the maximum recipients of questions for the first five minutes.

Finally, when Shahid was asked a question about the most shaandar gift he received after marriage, Alia interjected almost immediately before Shahid could even reply ir think of replying.

“One second..Shahid’s shaandaar shaadi is done and now we will only talk about the marriage in Shaandaar,” shouted Alia.

When asked what ‘Shaandaar’ gift he got for his wedding, he didn’t reply. Alia again came to his rescue and said, “We are Shaandaar gifts of his wedding.”

On another occassion, when another lady journalist quizzed Shahid on whether Shaadi ka ladoo is a good or bad thing to eat, a reluctant Shahid with great difficulty finally said, “It’s great.”
