Sanjeev Kapoor tells Twinkle Khanna how he leads a ‘private’ life, reveals restaurants take longer to serve him

He then shared how after being at work for 16-17 hours, he’s decided to not go out alone. “I have made this rule that I will go out only with my wife. I also don’t drink or smoke, so I am mostly at home.” He shared how in his initial years working in hotels has made him ‘seen it all’. “From celebrations to parties at work… So I now enjoy ghar ka khana.. simple khana. I enjoy my family time and do go for vacations, People don’t see me much because I don’t go out,” the chef said.

When Twinkle Khanna asked if he sends the management scurrying when he visits restaurants, Sanjeev Kapoor smiled in agreement. He added that if they usually take 20-30 minutes to serve, they do take an hour to feed him.

The ‘Khana Khazana’ star further shared how his wife and both daughters also work with him. He revealed how they are always thinking about work and asking him to capture enough content. When the host asked if the children listen to him, he smiled to say, “They do have their opinions. Depends on convenience. If it’s on their favour, they do, otherwise they justify it to no end.”
